Terra

“Terra” is a three-channel video projection created by Julia Oldham for a “The Observatory,” a multimedia installation by Really Large Numbers (Julia Oldham and Chad Stayrook) that envisions a post-climate change, post-apocalyptic future. The video depicts earth as a deserted wasteland overseen by an AI system named Terra, written and performed by Oldham, who acts as both companion and guide to the remaining humans on Earth, teaching them how to navigate the harsh environment.
